HARROGATE and District NHS Foundation Trust needs two people to join the trust's board as non-executive directors.

The successful candidates will have board-level or equivalent experience in commerce or the public sector.

Applications from those who have been at the heart of improving collaborative and partnership working in their field are particularly welcomed.

The trust provides services across Harrogate, the rest of North Yorkshire, North Leeds, County Durham, Darlington and Middlesbrough (and in Stockton-on-Tees and Gateshead during early 2018).

The time commitment for both roles is, on average, five days a month and remuneration at the rate of around £13,000 a year.

Appointment will be from early May and early autumn.

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is a high-performing organisation rated by the Care Quality Commission as ‘Good’ overall and ‘Outstanding’ for care.

Angela Schofield, chairman of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, said: “These are two really exciting opportunities for the right people to join a high-performing NHS trust and be part of our development. We are a growing, forward-thinking organisation and we are looking to recruit two people who are passionate about healthcare."
