A VEHICLE has crashed into a tree in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that officers were attending a serious road accident in Malton Road, Hunmanby, adding that the road would be closed so officers could investigate the scene.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said that one fire engine from Filey was called at 1.18pm to the scene of a single vehicle accident, which involved a vehicle going into a tree.
A spokesman said no one was trapped and firefighters did not need to assist in removing anyone from the wreckage but were there primarily to help maintain safety. He could not comment on the extent of anyone's injuries.
