POLICE investigating the fraudulent use of stolen bank cards in York want to speak to a woman whose picture was captured on CCTV.
North Yorkshire Police said a woman’s bank cards were stolen on November 10 and used in shops around York on the same day.
“A total of around £200 was spent on the accounts,” said a spokeswoman. “Despite extensive inquiries, officers are still trying to identify the offender.”
She said officers had released the CCTV image of a woman they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident, who was seen shopping in York with another woman.
