POLICE are urging witnesses to come forward after a shop window was smashed in North Yorkshire.
Shortly after 1am on Saturday, a large window at an office supplies store in Malton's Yorkersgate was smashed, North Yorkshire Police said.
A police spokesman added: "Inquiries are being conducted to determine the circumstances around the incident and police want to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at the time, or anyone who can assist the investigation."
Members of the public are asked to phone police on 101, select option 2 and ask to speak to Alan Robson.
