POLICE want to speak to a couple who helped a woman being attacked by a gang of youths.
Humberside Police said the victim was in Cherry Tree Lane, near Knights Way, Beverley, when a group of 17 or 18-year-olds demanded money and her mobile phone, then assaulted her and injured her face at about 7pm on Friday, December 29. The group fled empty handed when a pair of dog walkers responded to her cry for help.
Anyone who can identify the youths or dog walkers should phone 101 quoting 16/73685/17.
