MEMBERS of the public have been urged to put their questions to North Yorkshire Police ahead of an upcoming public accountability meeting.
The next meeting will take place on January 23. Chaired by Police and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan, the meeting will cover the policing of the fracking site at Kirby Misperton, problems and improvements with the force control room.
The meeting will also include a presentation on offender management within North Yorkshire.
Members of the public can send questions in advance to info@northyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk or to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, 12 Granby Road, Harrogate, HG1 4ST, but must be received before midday on Friday, January 19.
Questions can also be asked during the meeting using Twitter, by tweeting during the live broadcast using #NYPscrutiny, but a cut-off point will be announced.
The meeting can be viewed online from 1.30pm at northyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk and will also be recorded and available to view afterwards.
