A SMALL farm-based eatery has been awarded the restaurant of the year 2017 title by The Flavours of Herriot Awards.

Rascills in Raskelf, near Easingwold, recently celebrated its first birthday and is also listed in both Michelin and Good Food guides 2018.

The tiny restaurant is solely operated and owned by a team of two, Richard and Lindsey Johns. Richard cooks, whilst Lindsey takes care of the front of house.
