Brexit is not in the best interests of the UK, neither for the disgruntled who voted for it, nor for the NHS nor for businesses and workers.
A hard border on the island of Ireland would be laughable if it were not so dangerous; hate crime is a running sore, and we lose all credibility on the continent.
This deteriorating situation could be ended. The Article 50 notification triggering Brexit could be revoked.
The UK does not need to go down this destructive path. We need a meaningful parliamentary vote on the final deal which includes the option to remain in the EU.
We can reverse out of this mess.
