RESERVATIONS are now being taken at The Ivy ahead of its opening on December 14.
The St Helen’s Square restaurant will accommodate 120 guests and will serve a range of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner.
The menus will be all-encompassing, serving modern British classics such as Grilled Lobster, Shepherd’s Pie and a Flourless Cappuccino Cake, overseen by The Ivy Collection’s Chef Director and Yorkshireman, Mark Askew.
Guests will also benefit from a bar, terrace and interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, while the restaurant will have a quintessentially British feel, complete with a marble top bar, pendant lighting and leather banquettes and display art true to York.
Jon Pinner, General Manager at The Ivy St Helen’s Square said: “We’re extremely excited to bring The Ivy Collection to York. Chosen for its heritage, fantastic local community and vibrant tourist industry, it is the perfect location for us.”
