YORKSHIRE Water is warning householders in York’s Fishergate that their tap water may become discoloured and water pressure may drop.
The company says it is planning to flush its pipes in the neighbourhood between next Monday and December 1, to remove naturally occurring mineral deposits which may have built up in the pipelines.
It has assured residents it will not need access to their properties as part of the project.
