THE annual estimate of rough sleepers takes place in North Yorkshire later this month.
Hambleton District Council and neighbouring authorities give an estimate of rough sleepers between 7pm and 7am on November 22.
All local authorities have to submit an annual figure indicating the numbers of people sleeping rough in their area on a typical night. Due to the rural nature, geographical size of the district and the heavy involvement required by partner organisations Hambleton will submit an estimate.
Anyone who knows of rough sleepers in the area should contact Alison Morton by November 24 on alison.morton@hambleton.gov.uk
