REPAIRS on the damaged crash barrier and the retaining wall at Kex Gill, on the A59 between Harrogate and Skipton, is due to start on November 20 and should be finished by the end of December.
The temporary traffic lights that have been in place since the crash barrier and retaining wall were damaged will be in operation during the repairs.
County councillors said there was structural damage behind what was visual, but with winter weather coming it was important to get the repairs done soon.
Council experts have been working with vehicle restraint specialists and other contractors to come up with repair plans.
