TWO anti-fracking protesters were arrested after demonstrating in two wooden towers yesterday.
The demonstration, carried out by a man and a woman, blocked Habton Road for nearly 14 hours after they moved in at 3am.
Superintendent Alisdair Dey, of North Yorkshire Police, said: "The action taken by the two protesters has clearly had a disruptive impact upon the local community throughout the day.
"We are doing all we can to make sure residents can go about their daily lives safely and without disruption.
"Local neighbourhood police officers and PCSOs will continue to be active in Kirby Misperton and surrounding villages, addressing any concerns about the impact of protest activity."
