A YORK hotel is hosting a fundraising event to support a young boy in his fight against a life-limiting condition.
The ChariTEA Afternoon Tea will take place in the Tower’s Restaurant at Hilton York, in Tower Street, on November 18, from 1pm to 4pm. The price is £24 per person and £5 per child.
Adults who book by November 1 will pay £20. A spokeswoman for the hotel said £5 of the ticket sales will go to the hotel while the rest will go straight to the Blake’s Genes appeal.
All the money from children’s tickets sold will go to the appeal. The event aims to support the well-being, health and welfare of local boy Blake Knaggs along with raising awareness in his fight against living life with Mucolipidosis ll.
