LIKE your letter writer, I too would wish to live in a land of hope and glory (The Press, October 9).
A place where the power of prayer can summon someone or something to provide a cure for all trouble and strife sounds wonderful.
Unfortunately, I live in the real world, where gunmen massacre innocents and where divine intervention is sadly amiss.
