A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she suffered leg injuries on Strensall Common.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the nature reserve, in Brecks Lane, at 11.10am on Monday to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
A crew from Huntington recovered the woman using a Paraguard stretcher to transport her over rough ground to the awaiting ambulance.
She was transported to York Hospital via road and crews left the scene a short time later.
