Charlie Wegelius finished in 148th place on stage ten of the Tour de France from Tallard to Marseille.
The Liquigas rider, who learned his trade in York, was ten minutes and 36 seconds behind Frenchman Cedric Vasseur, who won a five-man sprint finish on the 229.5km stage.
Wegelius lies in 76th overall, 56 minutes and 45 seconds behind leader, Dane Michael Rasmussen.
