A THIRTEEN-year-old girl from Leeds has won a competition to name a new racoon dog puppy is residence at an East Yorkshire stately home and zoo.
Charlotte Leanne Cox has named the female puppy at Sewerby Hall Oona, and staff say Oona is getting on well with Bandit, the existing adult raccoon dog already in residence.
Charlotte's prize is an adoption pack for the raccoon dogs, and other animals at Sewerby are available for people to adopt from £14.
