READING Helen Mead’s article “The horror of instructions” (The Press, August 31), I wonder if David Beckham has pulled the Lego Disney castle apart to build something else from the pieces.
This is what my four-year-old grandson does. He concentrates on building the object via the instructions then, when finished, he pulls it apart and starts building the next object in the book.
Sometimes he needs a little help pulling them apart as some of the pieces are tiny.
Who’s to say one day he will have enough money like David Beckham to buy a Disney castle to play with.
