AN INDEPENDENT school in the East Riding has recently played host to 1,500 hundred riders from 58 different countries as they took part in a gruelling cycle challenge.
The London Edinburgh London event takes place every four years, and this is the second time the riders have used Pocklington School as a stop off point, as they rode from London to Edinburgh and back in under five days. The sports hall was used as a huge dormitory containing 350 mattresses and blankets, where the riders booked a time slot to rest. Food was available in the dining hall.
