A TREMENDOUS bowling effort saw York and District Lord's Taverners Under-11s race to a ten-wicket victory over Leeds at Methley.
In a game reduced to 20 overs due to a thunderstorm, York skittled their hosts for 13, with Charlie Elliott, Karl Carver and Matthew Fisher taking two wickets apiece.
Oliver Leedham and Ryan Waite were the other wicket takers.
Elliott (10) and Carver (4) then knocked off the runs in just three overs.
The side's next game is at Broad Oak CC, Linthwaite, Huddersfield, tomorrow.
