YORK City's Football In The Community department will kick off their summer football fun camps at Poppleton playing fields on Monday, July 23, writes Ralph Shepherd.
The four-day course will take place at Millfield Lane, with boys and girls aged between five and 14 welcome to attend.
It costs £12 per each 10am to 3pm session, while the price for the whole course is £40.
All children will receive a certificate from a Minstermen player, a goodie bag, a match ticket and a club T-shirt.
Fun camp courses will also be held at Millthorpe Secondary School (from August 6 to August 10), Dunnington and Grimston Sports Club (August 13 to August 16) and Oaklands Sports Centre (August 20 to August 22).
Each camp again costs £12 per day with the full cost of the five-day Millthorpe course £50, Dunnington (four-day) £40 and Oaklands (three-day) £30.
City's Wigginton Road training ground will also host an advanced football development camp from Monday, July 30, to Thursday, August 2, when first-team boss Billy McEwan and head of youth Eric Winstanley will both lend their technical support and assess the potential of players.
The cost is £50 for the full course or £15 per day.
