A GANG of young people allegedly attacked a man and then hurled a paving slab through a window.
North Yorkshire Police said a group of males, aged 15 to 20-year-old, assaulted a male resident and threw a paving slab at a downstairs window of a property in Cecil Street, Harrogate.
It happened at 11.30pm last Friday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "The victim suffered swelling to his eye and had a number of cuts and grazes."
Police are conducting inquiries and are asking for the public's help to determine the full circumstances surrounding the assault and criminal damage.
