All Members of Parliament contribute to a charitable cause of their choice by selecting MPs from the floor of the House at Question Time to grace the Centre Court at Wimbledon, ie singles and mixed doubles, instead of berating each other. Winner takes all.
As for the House of Lords, restrict them to outside courts and let jousting begin. For those claiming diplomatic privilege, remove their attendance allowance.
The umpire for the day? Not the Speaker of the House, but none other than John McEnroe.
Any dispute for a baseline call will be rejected, along with “I can’t believe this” ringing in their ears.
