RYEDALE MP Kevin Hollinrake has been given a Government job helping the new Environment Secretary Michael Gove.
The Thirsk and Malton MP has been named Parliamentary Private Secretary to Mr Gove, now the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Secretary.
Mr Hollinrake said he was honoured with the appointment and added: “The food, farming and fishing sector is absolutely a key industry in Thirsk and Malton and I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent their interests wherever I can over this crucial period.”
