THE new chair of trustees for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Housing Trust has been announced as Will Haire, who will replace Dr Tony Stoller who has stepped down after six years in the role.
Mr Haire was a civil servant in Northern Ireland for 35 years, including Permanent Secretary of the Department of Social Development, and the Departments of Education and Employment and Learning. He will take up the role of Chair this month.
Campbell Robb, chief executive at JRF/JRHT, said: “I’m delighted Will Haire has been appointed as our new Chair. He brings a wealth of experience and will be a real asset.”
Will Haire said: “This is an incredibly important time for both organisations and I am looking forward to working together to build on the achievements Tony Stoller oversaw during his time as Chair.”
