THE Archbishop of York will ordain 10 new priests in a service at York Minster.
The six women and four men will be ordained by Dr John Sentamu at 10am on Sunday.
Since their ordination last year as a deacon, each has served as a curate – an assistant minister in training – in a parish within the Diocese of York.
The new priests and the parishes in which they will continue to serve include The Revd Ruth Banbury, St Oswalds, Fulford, The Revd Paul Millard, Clifton Parish, and The Revd Hannah Shingler, St Pauls, Holgate.
