YORK residents paid their respects to the victims of the London terrorist attack by holding a minutes silence in the city centre.
Around 100 people fell silent in St Helen's Square as part of a protest against fox hunting.
Protesters had come from all over the country to march through the streets, but organisers decided to cancel the march and pay their respects to the seven victims instead.
Three terrorists, who were shot dead by police, launched an attack on pedestrians on London Bridge around 10pm on Saturday before leaving their vehicle and attacking revellers in Borough Market.
