A PLANNED anti-fox hunting rally will now be a sit-down protest after the events in London last night.

Labour campaigners had intended on staging a demonstration in St Helen's Square at 5pm today, but said they have altered it to include a vigil and minute's silence.

National campaigning has been suspended until later today after seven people died in a terrorist attack on London Bridge and Borough Market.

Attackers brought carnage to the streets of the capital, stabbing a police officer and revellers with 12-inch knives, reportedly shouting “this is for Allah” on Saturday night.
