ORGANISERS of this year’s Beertown are turning Malton into a “theatre of beer” with more than 60 of the most exciting beers from the best breweries in the UK and beyond.

Now in its fourth year, Beertown, which takes place at the Milton Rooms from tomorrow (Thursday) to Saturday, brings together two of the town’s breweries, Brass Castle and Bad Seed.

Chris Waplington, from Bad Seed Brewery, said: “Each year Beertown has proved bigger and better than the last, and this year promises to outdo them all.

“For Beertown 2017 we have compiled our most eclectic range of beers ever and gone international in our search for great tasting beer.”

Beertown will also include live music on Friday and Saturday. Money raised will be donated to Ryedale Special Families.

Chris said: “Last year we raised £3,000 and we hope to top that. Beertown 2017 promises a shindig not to be missed.”

Tickets, which are £6, are available on the door.
