SHOPPERS who bought trimmed beans from a major high street supermarket have been urged to return them.
Morrisons has recalled all 170g packets of trimmed green beans with ‘display until’ dates of April 22, 23 and 24.
The Food Standards Agency said the beans may contain “small pieces of metal which could represent a safety risk”, but said no other Morrisons products are known to be affected. A spokesman for the FSA said: “If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
