VANDALS smashed the rear windscreen of a North Yorkshire Police car and damaged a police van while officers were attending an incident.
Officers were dealing with an incident in Thirsk between 12.20pm and 1.20pm on Wednesday, April 19, and left their vehicles parked in Topcliffe Road.
A spokesman said when the officers returned, the rear window of the car had been smashed, the body work of both vehicles had been scratched and eggs had been broken against them.
