FIREFIGHTERS were called out to two crashes in East Yorkshire on Wednesday.
Crews went to a single vehicle accident in Highfield Lane, Fangfoss, where two women managed to release themselves from a vehicle prior to their arrival. They made the vehicle safe, leaving the incident in the care of ambulance staff and police.
Firefighters also went to a single vehicle crash in Scarborough Road, Nafferton, where a woman had released herself prior to their arrival, and they again left the incident in the care of the ambulance service and police.
Crews also helped a man stuck in a commode in The Close, Driffield.
