CHART toppers Ward Thomas will make their York Barbican debut on May 2 next year on their 22-date British tour.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday for an itinerary that also takes in Yorkshire gigs at The Plug, Sheffield, on May 3 and Church, a new Leeds venue in a church in Woodhouse Lane, on May 4.
The Ward Thomas twins, Catherine and Lizzy, made pop history when their second album, Cartwheels, entered the charts at number one in September, making the 22-year-old hampshire siblings the first ever British country act to hit the top spot.
Earlier, they were barely out of their teens when they became country crossover stars with their independently released 2014 debut album From Where We Stand.
Last month, Ward Thomas completed a run of 16 sold-out shows, so demand is expected to be high for next spring's dates. York tickets can be booked on 0844 854 2757,at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office.
