TWO cyclists were threatened by two other cyclists, and one of them pulled out a knife, York police have said.
A man and a woman were cycling in Crichton Avenue, Clifton, when they were approached by two men on bikes.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The two men threatened the man and one of them produced a knife. The victim and the woman rode off to the Post Office on Intake Avenue where the police were called. No-one was injured during the incident."
It happened at about 3pm on Tuesday.
Police ask any witnesses to come forward.
They want to identify the suspects. Both were white and believed to be aged 19 or 20. One was chubby and was wearing a black coat. The other was skinny, with straggly hair, and was wearing a dark jacket.
