Krakatoa in Tanner Row, which has now closed
A POPULAR restaurant in York city centre has shut down.
Krakatoa in Tanner Row opened in spring 2013, in the building that had previously been The Mogul curry house.
It specialised in Indonesian food and was highly-rated, but owner Tim Potter announced on facebook on Monday that it was closing.
He wrote: "Ladies & Gentlemen, we regret to announce that Krakatoa is now closed. Thank you for all your support. We will now take some time off, visit family in Indonesia, & try to find premises that don't leak next time."
