POLICE in York seized this unusual method of transport today.
Officers on patrol in the city stopped the rider of this mountain bike, which has been fitted with a small engine, at just before 6pm on Sunday.
The motorised bike was seized by police, as the rider did not have adequate insurance to be using it.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the rider was reported for riding the motorised bike without a licence and without insurance.
