PEOPLE in York are being invited to a special family history event to trace their own roots through the generations.
Members of the City of York and District Family History Society are opening up their well-equipped research room on Saturday, October 29, from 10am to 4pm. All the resources will be free to use, and volunteers will be available to help and give advice.
Free car parking is available and the centre is fully accessible. The Research Room is in The Raylor Centre, James Street, York. Contact yorkfamilyhistory@btopenworld.com or 01904 412204 for information.
