A PUBLIC meeting will be held in Haxby next week to tell people about possible housing developments in the area.
York Outer MP Julian Sturdy has organised the meeting with council leader David Carr to give people in Haxby and Wigginton chance to discuss housing proposals in their area in the Local Plan.
The meeting is at Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church, The Village, Haxby, from 9.30am to 11am on Saturday, September 3.
A new draft of the Local Plan is currently at public consultation, and contains plans for around 10,000 new homes around York. Details are online at www.york.gov.uk/localplan
