BBC QUESTION time has been cancelled following the death of MP Jo Cox.
The BBC show was set to be recorded at the University of York this evening, but has been called off after the MP for Batley and Spen died after she was shot and stabbed in Birstall, West Yorkshire.
It was due to be the last Question Time before the EU referendum next week, and the panel would have included Nicky Morgan MP, Alan Johnson MP and Bob Geldof for the Remain campaign, as well as Louise Mensch, Tom Harris and Ruth Lea for the leave campaign.
Both campagins have cancelled events following the death of the 41-year-old, who was attacked on Thursday afternoon after her constituency surgery.
