AFTER reading Paul Hepworth’s letter re St Wilfrid’s ‘hidden’ garden, I too can fully recommend a visit to this no longer hidden little treasure right in the heart of the city.
A very warm welcome, delicious, home-baked cakes and a very decent cuppa awaits the visitor. And to think, I only came for the garden.
The very privileged pottering about this little gem more than makes up for the small entrance fee.
It has been open quite a few times – I enjoyed this treat last April.
I hope you will also soon be able to share this pleasant experience.
