ROCKER Bryan Adams will perform a one-off gig in North Yorkshire this summer.
The Canadian singer-songwriter behind Summer of 69, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, and Run To You, will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Monday, August 8.
This will be the first time Adams, who recently released his thirteenth studio album, has performed on the Yorkshire coast.
Peter Taylor, director of the theatre, said: "He is without a doubt an international rock legend and to be able to secure an artist of his calibre for Scarborough and the wonderful Open Air Theatre is huge. We are delighted we have been able to make this happen and we look forward to what is sure to be a fantastic night."
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday from scarboroughopenairtheatre.com or ticketmaster.co.uk and are available from £49.50.
