WELL done, George Appleby (Is a woman's work that much harder? The Press, May 26), for having the courage to say what we have always known - women do work harder than men.
A man, whatever his profession - builder, plumber, accountant, journalist - does his job eight to five, comes home and expects to put his feet up.
A woman on the other hand is a cleaner, cook, laundress, child minder, nurse, gardener, chauffeur and often goes out to work part-time as well.
Eight to five? More like 24/7.
