The A1079 was closed for several hours this afternoon because of an accident involving a lorry and fallen power cables.
The road was closed in both directions at Wilberfoss, between Bolton Lane and Sutton Lane.

It is believed the driver was unhurt, but the road had to be closed from around 2.30pm to remove the lorry.
