YOU wouldn't want their electricity bill, but hats off to residents of Twin Pike Way in Wigginton because once again they are lighting up the skies with their traditional Christmas tree display.
Over the years the street now dubbed 'Twinkle' Pike Way has attracted hundreds of visitors and raised more than £60,000 for St Leonard's Hospice and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with its impressive festive light show.
At a time when the headlines suggest an unremittingly bleak mid winter, isn't this a wonderful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas?
