FIRE crews were called out when a car caught fire on the A64 this afternoon.
The car caught fire at the side of the road near the Hull Road turnoff on the A64.
The fire service was contacted at around 3pm. Two fire engines attended the scene where the Vauxhall Astra was burning.
The cause of the fire is thought to be an electrical fault.
No other vehicles were invloved in the incident. Fire crews have now left the scene.
