AT THE opening of the Conservative Party Conference the Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said in his speech: “Our message to Isil is clear, when you threaten the lives of British citizens, there is no place to hide.”
Err... what about Isil fanatics hiding among the vast swarm of economic migrants forcing their way through European borders and making their way to the open borders of the UK that Mr Hammond’s government have neither the will nor the ability within the constraints of European law to defend?
That is without mentioning the home-grown sympathisers jumping on planes to join in the barbaric Isil.
“No hiding place”. More like hiding in plain view, Mr Hammond.
