TICKETS are on sale now for a Christmas charity concert in York.
The York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir will raise funds to help elderly residents in the city, at a concert on Saturday, October 10, at York's Guildhall.
The show will include jazz and light opera, and music from popular shows, with guest performances by the York Priory Choir and soloist soprano Maria Marshall, former York Minster chorister.
Proceeds will go to the Lord Mayor and Sheriff’s Christmas Cheer Fund, which provides a festive party for 400 elderly York residents.
Tickets cost £9 and are available from Visit York in Blake Street, or at the civic office on 01904 551011.
