A MAN has been arrested following a fight in Acomb.
North Yorkshire Police were called to Kingsway West at about 9pm on Sunday, where a 25-year-old York man was found with facial injuries, and a 33-year-old man had suffered hand injuries.
An alley off Kingsway West was cordoned off by police for some time last night while investigations took place.
A police spokeswoman said the 25-year-old was arrested in connection with the incident and later released on bail, and said officers believe both men were known to each other.
Anyone who saw the altercation or has information which could assist police with their investigation should phone the York Serious Crime Team on 101 and ask for DC Simon Fricke, quoting incident number 12150153166.
