DANCE students at a York secondary school had their syllabus brought to life with a special workshop.
The Matthew Bourne Dance company came in to All Saint's RC School in York's South Bank to perform with pupils as part of a three hour session.
All Saint's head of dance, Hannah Dukes, said: "Matthew Bourne is a world renowned dance company who are currently touring the UK with The Car Man which is one of the texts we are studying in school.
"Students got to experience first hand what they have been learning and to speak to the dancers in a question and answer session after the performance and they thoroughly enjoyed the whole afternoon."
